Hypothalamus - PERLA Health

Hypothalamus

The Hypothalamus is a part of your brain that controls your endocrine system. It influences functions of your body such as the regulation of the temperature, food, sleep, thirst, memory and emotional behavior. The hypothalamus communicates with the pituitary gland, which produces hormones and sends these messengers off in the bloodstream to the target location or gland.
