Gland

Glands (specifically endocrine glands) are organs that produce hormones that have a specific function in the body, for example to control growth and development, your metabolism, mood or reproduction. Glands, or tissue that acts as glands that are important in PCOS are the adrenal glands, the pituitary gland, the hypothalamus, pancreas, and ovaries.
