Mood Disorders

Mood disorders are a family of disorders that affect a person’s emotions. They can lead to changes in behavior and make it more difficult to function in daily life. The two most common mood disorders are depression and bipolar disorders, but there’s also other disorders such as seasonal affective disorder (SAD, also called seasonal depression), premenstrual dysphoric disorder, and depression related to medical illness.
