The lymphatic system is part of your immune system, and helps protecting your body against illness and supports metabolic functions. The lymphatic system contains your lymph (a clear fluid which is also called lymphatic fluid), lymph nodes, lymphatic vessels, collecting ducts, spleen, thymus, tonsils and adenoid, bone marrow, peyer’s patches and appendix.
