Birth Control

Birth control, also called contraception, are methods to help prevent pregnancy. There are a variety of methods available, and their effectiveness in preventing pregnancy varies greatly. Birth control includes methods such as oral contraceptive pills/birth control pills, patches, vaginal rings, implants, intrauterine devices (IUDs), condoms, sterilization and fertility awareness based methods. Your health care provider is the best source for information about birth control, and together you can find out which method of birth control works best for you.
