Progestin

Progestin is a synthetic form of progesterone. It was created to have a similar function on the body like progesterone on the endometrium and ovulation, but have better absorption and binding capabilities than progesterone. Progestin is used for birth control, but is also used to treat PCOS, menopause, menstrual irregularities and endometriosis.
