Depilatories are a method to remove unwanted hair, and often come in the form of a cream, gel, aerosol or as a roll-on. Depilatories contain chemicals that dissolve the hair shaft, so that the hair can be wiped off from the skin and only grows back after about 2 weeks. As depilatories can lead to allergic reactions and irritations, read and follow the instructions carefully, and test it beforehand on a small patch of skin.
